Curtis Jones was a rising star — an all-city basketball player known for his skill and character. After his tragic passing in 2007, his family and the NW Goldberg community kept his memory alive. The park was developed through a partnership between NW Goldberg Cares, the Curtis Jones Foundation, the City of Detroit, and community members who shared the dream of turning loss into legacy.
