Monthly Community Dinners
BREAKING BREAD brings neighbors together over chef-prepared meals to share stories, strengthen connections, and highlight the power of healthy, accessible food.
This seasonal event series features themed activities like karaoke, s’mores nights, and ice cream socials—offering families a chance to connect in fun, creative ways.
In Partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra
A hands-on music program for children 10 and under that introduces rhythm, harmony, and creative expression through interactive lessons led by DSO musicians.
This multi-week educational program is focused on improving literacy, critical thinking, and financial awareness in children ages 4–8, all while celebrating Detroit’s history.
Designed for youth ages 5–16, this active lifestyle camp promotes physical health, play-based learning, and community building through both structured and free-form activities.
This playful, team-based dodgeball tournament is part fundraiser, part throwback — and all fun. Proceeds directly go toward supporting our youth and family programs.
PUZZLE CHALLENGE is our annual team-based competition where neighbors come together for puzzles, pizza, and prizes. With five teams going head-to-head, it’s a fun, fast-paced afternoon full of laughs, strategy, and community.
HOLIDAYFEST is our annual winter tradition where families come together for festive activities, holiday treats, and a celebration of culture to support children in the neighborhood.
