Daniel is the founder and executive director of NW Goldberg Cares. A life-long resident of NW Goldberg, Daniel sees his community as a prime example of a neighborhood in need of investment within. With an education from Detroit’s renown Wayne State University - the 27-year-old serialpreneur has years of experience in marketing and communications. To Daniel, founding NW Goldberg Cares was his way of making sure the work he did as a child spread beyond 15th Street and is inclusive to all NW Goldberg residents.
Jordan is the director of programming for NW Goldberg Cares. The Michigan State grad has been spearheading philanthropic efforts in the city of Detroit since she was 18. She believes building real relationships is instrumental to ensure that all residents are a part of redevelopment. She is aware that her experiences as a white woman raised in the suburbs are different than that of a long-time NW Goldberg resident. She is committed to understanding varying perspectives and working collaboratively in decision making. Jordan aims to use her passion for community and economic development to help revitalize the NW Goldberg neighborhood.
