RINK ATTENDANT
WINTER WONDERLAND is a program of NW Goldberg Cares that brings an outdoor ice rink to the NW Goldberg neighborhood with the purpose of creating an opportunity to access outdoor public winter programming for neighbors to safely get outside and be active.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage aspects of renting skates to visitors
Organization of skates to ensure all sizes/pairs are kept together
Cleaning and disinfection of skating equipment
Selling of snacks/beverages
Assess condition of skating equipment to determine if its safe to use or needs to be replaced/maintained
Communication with supervisor on challenges and areas for improvement
Maintaining and promoting of NW Goldberg Cares mission and goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be at least 18 years of age
High school graduate or equivalent
Possess strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Be mentally and physically capable of being outdoors for 6 hours during winter months
Possess a strong worth ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
CPR/First Aid certification is not required, but strongly preferred
FURTHER DETAILS:
The Rink Attendant will report directly to the Director of Programming.
This is a stipended position.
